Preschool (ages 2 through entering Kindergarten)

Weekly Themes & Descriptions

Both camps follow the same weekly schedule of activities:

June 1st – June 5th: Lego Masters / STEM Camp

  • Description: Focusing on building with Legos and any materials that can be found.

June 8th – June 12th: Art Camp

  • Description: Painting, drawing, and creating various works of art.

June 23rd – June 26th: Space Camp

  • Description: Exploring the solar system and conducting experiments.

July 6th – July 10th: Cooking Camp for Kids

  • Description: Learning measurements, testing recipes, and discovering how to cook without an oven.

July 13th – July 17th: Science Camp

  • Description: Non-stop experimenting (noted as Mrs. Becca’s favorite subject).

July 20th – July 24th: Board Games and Puzzles Camp

  • Description: A week of games, tournaments, and team-building activities.

Mrs. Kenney’s 2026 Summer Camps

General Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Weekly Camp Themes

June 1st–4th: Under the Sea Adventure!

Dive into the wonders of the ocean with a week of hands-on exploration and maritime fun.

  • Activities:

    • Ocean-themed arts and crafts.

    • Interactive games and play.

    • Marine STEM experiments.

    • Storytime sessions.

    • Creative project: “Create your own sea creature”.

June 8th–11th: Mad Scientist STEM Camp!

A week dedicated to wild experiments and “explosive” scientific discovery.

  • Activities:

    • Mixing bubbling potions and making slime.

    • Engineering-focused builds and construction.

    • Cool and engaging science experiments.

June 15th–18th: Treasure Island STEM Quest!

Students become explorers to solve mysteries and track down hidden treasures.

  • Activities:

    • Science fun with erupting volcanoes.

    • Hands-on sensory play with gooey slime and oobleck.

    • Decoding treasure maps.

    • Themed STEM challenges and daily treasure hunts.

Note: All camps are designed to be interactive, blending play with STEM-based learning.

Camp Descriptions

Camp: Fe & Culture
Dates: June 2–4 and June 9–11

Explore the world and faith through a cultural lens. Students will dive into the heritage of various Spanish-speaking nations while grounding themselves in scripture.

Bible Focus: “Declare His glory among the nations.” — Psalm 96:3

  • Activities:

    • Explore Spanish-speaking countries including Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Spain.

    • Learn basic Spanish vocabulary.

    • Create daily crafts inspired by different cultures.

    • Engage in games, music, and hands-on activities.

Camp: Fe & Words
Dates: July 7–9 and July 14–16

Focused on literacy and storytelling, this session helps students build confidence in their communication skills before the new school year begins.

Bible Focus: “Your word is a lamp to my feet…” — Psalm 119:105

  • Activities:

    • Participate in reading and writing exercises.

    • Build vocabulary and reading comprehension.

    • Enjoy storytime and group discussions.

    • Complete a “mini book” creative project.

    • Play fun learning games.
