Middle School
The Middle School at Awaken Christian Academy serves students in Sixth through Eighth Grade, where they are challenged academically, encouraged spiritually, and supported as they grow into the young men and women God has created them to be.
Sixth – Eighth Grade
Challenged, encouraged and supported
Middle school is a season of tremendous growth. At ACA, students build on a strong core curriculum while they explore their interests and discover new passions through a wide variety of elective courses.
Weekly Chapel & Missions
Faith at the Center
At ACA, Bible instruction is an essential part of our core curriculum and remains at the heart of our school community. Students are encouraged not only to learn Biblical truth but also to understand how it applies to their everyday lives.
Middle School students participate in weekly Chapel, featuring student-led worship and meaningful teaching from staff members and guest speakers. We also place a strong emphasis on Community Outreach and Missions, giving students opportunities to put their faith into action and serve others in meaningful ways.
The Whole Student
Preparing students to thrive
At Awaken Christian Academy, we are committed to developing the whole student. We seek to edify and prepare each child through:
- Spiritual growth, Biblical study, and meaningful mentorship
- Building a strong academic foundation and a lifelong love of learning
- Developing healthy social skills and an awareness of the culture around them
- Teaching valuable lessons of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and character through competitive athletics
- Helping students discover and develop their God-given gifts through fine arts, electives, and extracurricular activities
Award-Winning Athletics
Athletics & Activities
ACA is proud to offer an award-winning athletic program that gives students opportunities to compete, build friendships, develop character, and learn the value of teamwork and perseverance.
Physical Education is also a required part of our Middle School program, helping students develop healthy habits and an appreciation for physical wellness.
Character Matters
Most importantly, we want our students to understand that who they are matters just as much as what they accomplish. We strive to cultivate students who are confident, compassionate, respectful, and prepared to make a positive difference in the world around them.
“We can immediately recognize ACA school kids from students at any other school, especially the teenagers. ACA teenagers are so polite and friendly and extremely well-mannered compared to any other group of kids.”
A local vendor
We are incredibly proud of the character our students demonstrate and the way they represent their families, their school, and Christ.
